CHF 93 Mio. Covid Credits for 336 Start-ups

A total of 617 start-ups submitted a credit guarantee application on EasyGov from 7 May until 31 August 2020. Of these applications, to date, 336 start-ups have received a total of CHF 93'129'591 in credit guarantees. The overall feedback received from start-ups and cantons participating in the programme was very positive. In general, the start-ups perceived the effort as being not only directed at enabling their pure survival, but also at securing jobs and allowing investment cycles to continue. Unfortunately only the Swiss Banks were not as Start-up friendly as they should be during the Covid crises. While the canton of ZH ran its own program, the canton VD was very successful.
